Android: Invite Friends or Share a Plan

Invite Friends or share Plans you think your friends might enjoy.

Invite More People to Join a Plan with Friends

Only the Plan Host can invite others to join a Plan. If you're the Host, follow these steps to invite more people:

1. Select the Plans tab, if it isn’t already.
2. Select My Plans.
3. Select the Plan you want to invite people to.
4. Top right: select ︙, then Participants, or tap the participants’ photos.
5. Bottom: select Invite Others.
6. Select people from your Friends List to invite and tap Invite Friend.
   1. To share more broadly, use the share icon at the bottom to copy the link.
      1. Regular invite vs. QR code invite: A copied link can be shared with anyone, but the person needs to be on your Friends List to join the Plan directly. A QR code, on the other hand, lets anyone scan it and join the Plan — even if they're not your Friend yet.
   2. Or use the QR code icon to generate and share a QR code with anyone.
      1. Want to connect as Friends, too? Scanning a Plan QR code adds someone to the Plan, but it won't automatically add them as a Friend. To connect as Friends first (or afterward), see Android: Connect with Friends Using a QR Code.

Share a Plan with Friends

If you find a Plan your friends might enjoy, share the link via text, email, social media, or messaging apps. They can use it to explore and start the Plan on their own. To go through it together, start the Plan as a Plan with Friends and invite them.

1. Find the Plan you want to share, or select a Plan from Plans, My Plans.
2. Top right: select ︙, then Share.
3. Select the method and people you want to share it with and follow the prompts.
