Android: Connect with Friends Using a QR Code

Easily connect with friends using a unique QR code.

Connect with friends on YouVersion by sharing or scanning a profile QR code.

To Share Your Profile

1. Go to the You tab (profile photo or initial).
2. Tap the QR icon at the top right. Your QR code appears on screen — friends can scan it to open your profile and send a request.
3. To send your profile another way, select:
   • Share to choose how you'd like to send the link, or
   • Copy to paste the link anywhere.

To Add a Friend Using Their QR Code

1. Open your phone's regular camera app and point it at their QR code.
2. Tap the link that pops up to open their profile in the Bible App, then send a friend request.
