Events

Events Overview

Events is a completely free feature inside the YouVersion Bible App that helps users easily connect with church events they’re attending. Discover church events happening near you, then see details about each one: outlines, key points, Bible references, and more. When you attend an Event, follow along and add your own notes-even save it to your device.

Discover Events

Android, iOS:

1. Bottom right: Select More (≡), then select Events.
2. iOS:
   Top left: Select Find Events
   Android:
   Top left: Select Explore
3. Select an event from the map or the list of events below the map.

Search Events

Android, iOS:

1. Bottom right: Select More (≡), then select Events.
2. iOS:
   Top: Select 🔍 Search by keywords
   Android:
   Top Right: Select 🔍
3. Type the name of a church or event name and then select
   iOS:
   [Search] or [Go]
   Android:
   🔍
4. Select the desired resulting content.

Save an Event

1. Search for an event.
2. iOS:
   Top right: Select Save
   Android:
   Bottom: Select Save Event

Find Saved Events

Android, iOS:

1. Bottom right: Select More (≡), then select Events.
2. Top right: Select Saved Events
3. Select an event from list of events you have previously saved.

Add Event Notes

Each event created by an administrator is created with different modules that can contain Bible references, outlines, key points etc.

1. Discover a new event to share or select a saved event.
2. Module bottom left: Select Add Notes
3. Add your private notes to that module.
4. Top right: Select Save

Share or Export an Event

1. Discover a new event to share or select a saved event.
2. iOS:
   Below event title: Select Share Event
   Select Share about Event or Export Event Contents
   Select the method and/or people you want to share with, and follow the prompts.
   Android:
   Top right: Select Share Icon
   Select Share about Event or Export Event Contents
   Select the method and/or people you want to share with, and follow the prompts.
