Android: Block/Unblock/Report a User

Block a User
When you block a user, they will not know that you blocked them, and they will no longer be able to send you Friend requests.
- Bottom right: Select ≡ (More), Friends. To find a person they should be a friend or you can find them by searching for them using the email associated with their YouVersion account.
- Select 🔍.
- Type the name of the person you want to block, or a portion of their name, and Search on it.
- Find the person you want to block, and select their name. Their profile displays.
- Top right: select ︙, then Block.
- Select Block to block this user.
Or
Select Cancel to go back.
Unblock a User
When you unblock a user, they won’t receive any notifications. They’ll be able to send you Friend requests, and you’ll be able to invite them to be Friends.
- Bottom right: select ≡ (More), Friends. To find a person, they should be a friend or you can find them by searching for them using the email associated with their YouVersion account.
- Select 🔍.
- Type the name of the person you want to unblock, or a portion of their name, and Search on it.
- Find the person you want to unblock and select their name. Their profile displays.
- Select Unblock or tap ︙ at the top and then unfriend.
Report a User
Reporting is anonymous. When you report a user, they won’t know that you reported them.
- Bottom right: select ≡ (More), Friends. To find a person they should be a friend or you can find them by searching for them using the email associated with their YouVersion account.
- Select 🔍.
- Type the name of the person you want to report, or a portion of their name, and Search on it.
- Find the person you want to report and select their name. Their profile displays.
- Top right: select ︙, then Report.
- Select the Reason you are reporting this user.
YouVersion Community Support will receive a notification and investigate the reported account for the reason given.
