Guided Prayer on Android

Guided Prayer was created for you to experience a meaningful and habitual time in prayer. Using the Lord’s prayer as a framework guides you to have a consistent, balanced prayer life that includes honoring God by expressing what’s on your heart and responding to God in obedience.

There are two ways to open the Guided Prayer:

1. From the Daily Refresh section on the Home screen:
   1. Select the Home tab if it has not been selected already.
   2. Select Guided Prayer in the Daily Refresh section.
   3. Tap the right side of the screen to navigate forward, or the left side to go backward through the sections of the Guided Prayer.
2. From the Prayer screen:
   1. Select the More tab if it has not been selected already.
   2. Select Prayer.
   3. Select Guided Prayer.
   4. Tap the right side of the screen to navigate forward, or the left side to go backward through the sections of the Guided Prayer.

3. Welcome screen
   Focusing statement for the day’s prayer.
4. Guided Prayer
   A prayer honoring God.
   A verse and statements regarding your concerns and bringing them to God.
   Tap Add Prayer at the bottom to create a new Prayer. For more information on creating a Prayer, see here.
5. Prayer Requests
   Suggested prayer requests from your Prayer List.

6. Reflection Page
   A verse of gratitude and personal reflection.
7. Closing
   Closing Verse, question, etc.

Guided Prayer Background Music

When you start a Guided Prayer time, you will have the option to have background audio. This is to help you focus during prayer and keep external thoughts from intruding.

1. Tap the speaker icon on the top right of any section of the Guided Prayer to show/hide the audio controls.
2. Bottom center: Tap the Play/Pause button.
3. Bottom left: Tap the gear icon to change the background music.

Troubleshooting Guided Prayer on Android

1. I cannot view past Guided Prayers
   Viewing past Guided Prayers is currently not supported. To request this or any other feature, please submit the Product Idea Form
