Android: Guided Prayer
Guided Prayer was created for you to experience a meaningful and habitual time in Prayer. Using the Lord’s Prayer as a guide helps you have a regular, balanced Prayer life. It includes honoring God by saying what you think and obeying God.
There are two ways to open the Guided Prayer:
- From the Daily Refresh section on the Home screen:
- Select the Home tab if it hasn’t been selected already.
- Select Guided Prayer in the Daily Refresh section.
- Tap the right side of the screen to navigate forward, or the left side to go backward through the sections of the Guided Prayer.
- From the Prayer screen:
- Select the More tab if it hasn’t been selected already.
- Select Prayer.
- Select Guided Prayer.
- Tap the right side of the screen to navigate forward, or the left side to go backward through the sections of the Guided Prayer.

Guided Prayer Background Music
When you start a Guided Prayer time, you’ll have the option to have background audio. This is to help you focus during Prayer and keep external thoughts from intruding.
- Tap the speaker icon on the top right of any section of the Guided Prayer to show/hide the audio controls.
- Bottom center: tap the Play/Pause button.
- Bottom left: tap the gear icon to change the background music.
Troubleshooting Guided Prayer on Android
- I can’t view past Guided Prayers
Viewing past Guided Prayers is currently not supported. To request this or any other feature, please submit the Product Idea Form
