Guided Scripture on Android

The Guided Scripture feature is an opportunity to turn your heart and mind toward God daily. Guided Scripture can include an exclusive short video devotional based on the Verse of the Day, a Guided Prayer, and more.

There are two ways to open the Guided Scripture:

1. From the Daily Refresh section on the Home screen:
   1. Select the Home tab if it has not been selected already.
   2. Select Guided Scripture in the Daily Refresh section.
   3. Tap the sides of the screen to navigate forward/backward through the sections of the Guided Scripture.
2. From the Past Verse of the Day screen:
   1. Get to the Past Verse of the Day screen by following the steps here.
   2. Select Guided Scripture.
   3. Tap the sides of the screen to navigate forward/backward through the sections of the Guided Scripture.

Sections of the Guided Scripture

1. Video
   A short recording of the meaning & impact of today's Verse of the Day.
   Want to know more about the Verse of the Day speaker? Select the profile icon in the bottom left corner to see their Partner Page.
2. Devotional
   A short devotional content based on the Verse of the Day. It could be from a related Plan or an in-house devotional, however they are not included every day. If it is from an in-house devotional then it can be shared, if it was taken from a Plan, you can save it for later. It will be saved in the Plans > Saved Plans list and the Plan can be shared.
3. Prayer
   A prayer honoring God.
   Tap Add to Prayer List at the bottom to create a new Prayer. For more information on creating a Prayer, see here.
4. Scripture
   Verse of the Day.
5. Closing
   Closing Verse.

Share Guided Scripture

You can share any section of the Guided Scripture by tapping the share icon at the top right. Share the complete Guided Scripture by tapping Share Story at the bottom of the last section.

Watch Teaching Clips by Speakers

1. Select the Discover tab if it has not been selected already.
2. Type the speaker's name in the search bar and tap 🔍 on the keyboard.
3. Select the speaker under Pages in the search result and you will see all content from this speaker including Bible Plans and Teaching Clips.
