Verse of the Day features a different Bible verse for every day of the year. YouVersion’s staff chooses a verse that’ll encourage, inspire, or challenge you.

How to Share the Verse of the Day Image

Share the Verse of the Day text to bring encouragement to someone’s day!

1. On the Today screen, tap the share icon at the bottom of the Verse of the Day.
2. Choose either the Square or Vertical tab for the image orientation.
3. Select Customize to change the background color or font style.
   Tap Hide to close the customization menu.
4. Select Share.
5. To share through another app (such as email or messages), select that app’s icon.

How to Share the Verse of the Day Text

1. On the Today screen, tap the share icon at the bottom of the Verse of the Day.
2. Select the TEXT tab.
3. Select Share.
4. Tap the copy icon to copy the text to the clipboard.
5. To share in an app, such as email or messages, tap that icon.

How to Read the Full Chapter

Read the full passage to get more context and a deeper understanding of the verse.

1. Select the Today tab on the bottom menu.
2. Select Read Full Chapter.
3. This opens the Bible view, where you can scroll to read the full chapter or passage.
