Bible App Lite: Notifications

Turning on notifications will help you set up the updates you want the app to send you, whenever they will be the most helpful to you. Notifications are available for Verse of the Day, Today's Prayer, and Guides.

If you're not already signed into your free YouVersion account, sign in now.

Turn on Notifications

Follow the steps below to turn on notifications for Verse of the Day, Today's Prayer, and Guides.
  1. Select the Profile tab.
  2. Tap ☰ at the top left.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Under Notifications, toggle the check mark to turn on notifications.
    1. The time you turn on the notification will be the time you will receive your daily notification.

For Guides, you can also turn on notifications by selecting the Guide > select the bell icon in the top right corner.
