Android: Bible App Widget

Widgets give you immediate, easy access to special Bible App functions—such as Verse of the Day and Verse of the Day Images—by allowing you to place them directly on your device’s home screen.

Add a Widget

1. Home screen: Long-press any space.
2. Select Widgets.
   In the next step, place your widget carefully. Widgets take up more space on your screen than apps do. When you drop a widget, it may displace apps around it in ways you don’t expect.
3. Long-press on the widget you want, drag it where you want on your Home screen, then drop it.
4. If available: select your widget’s options, then select Save.

Resize a Widget

1. Home screen: Long-press on the widget you want to resize.
2. Long-press on any dots at the widget’s edges, then drag to resize.
3. When you finish resizing, select anywhere outside the widget.

Remove a Widget

1. Long-press on the widget you want to remove, drag it onto X Remove, then drop it there.
