Bible.com: Why You Might Not Be Seeing YouVersion Emails

The most common reason you might not see an email from us is that your email provider mistakenly sent it to your Spam or Junk folder. The steps below are guidelines — for specific instructions, refer to your email service's documentation or ask your IT department for help.

Check your Spam or Junk Folder

For the most control, we recommend completing these steps on a laptop or desktop computer.

  1. Sign in to your email Inbox.
  2. Look for a folder labeled Spam or Junk and select it.
  3. Search for emails from YouVersion or YouVersion — the Bible App.
  4. If you find an email from us, hover over the sender name to verify the return address reads no-reply@youversion.com.
  5. If your email client allows it, mark those emails as Not Spam. Otherwise, manually move them to your Inbox.
  6. Once your YouVersion emails are in your Inbox, follow the steps below to add us to your Safe Senders list.
Add YouVersion to your “Safe Senders” List
  1. With your Inbox open, go to your email service's Settings (you may need to look for Advanced Settings, All Settings, or similar).
  2. Look for a tab or section labeled Junk EmailSpam Filter, or something similar.
  3. Find a section called Safe SendersAllowed Addresses, or Whitelist.
  4. If no-reply@youversion.com or youversion.com appears on your blocked list, remove it.
  5. Add youversion.com (if your service accepts domains) or no-reply@youversion.com (if it accepts individual addresses) to your safe senders list.
  6. Select Save before exiting.
If you've completed both steps and still aren't receiving emails from us, contact your email service provider or IT department for further assistance.
