Reset a forgotten password on Bible.com

 Reset Forgotten Password Procedure
  1. Select Sign In in top header
  • On the Mobile web select the Menu (three lines) first
  1. Select Forgot your password? under the password box
  2. Enter the email address that is associated with your YouVersion account
  3. Select Send New Password
  4. The message, "We will attempt to send a reset password email to your email address  Click the link in that email to continue." is displayed
  5. Open the email from YouVersion and select the Reset Password box
  6. Type the password you want into the New Password  box
  7. Select with mouse and click on the Confirm Password  box to open it. Enter password again to confirm
  8. Select Change My Password
  9. You should get the success message
  10. Select Sign In and use your new password to sign in to your account
  11. This will be your new password on all devices 
Error messages
  1. If you do not receive the confirmation email select link here
  2. If you entered an email not in our system, you may see :
  • users.email_or_username.not_found
  • Check your email for correct lettering or sign up for an account if you do not have one
  • Select Send New Password to have a new email sent for another try
  1. If you entered an unacceptable password you get this error
  • Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again 

Password requirements

  • (minimum 6 characters )
  • Passwords are case sensitive
No Access to old email
  • If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your YouVersion account, you will not be able to reset your password.
  • For security reasons we cannot send a password reset email to any other email address than what is currently associated to your YouVersion account.  
  • You will need to create a new YouVersion account with your new email address.
