Why can’t I backup, export or print my bookmarks and notes on Bible.com

Last Updated: Aug 30, 2018 04:40PM CDT

Backing up or Exporting

If you are connected to the internet and  signed in to your account on Bible.com, then your bookmarks and notes are automatically saved and backed up on our servers.

There is no external backup or export function to directly provide you a local backup copy.

However, you could go to a desktop/laptop computer and:

  1. Sign in on the web at  with the same account as your mobile device
  2. Select the  Notes icon (box with lines) in the top right main menu bar
  3. Notes are always listed from newest (on top) to oldest (at the bottom)
  4. Scroll down to the note you want to copy
  5. Select the text of that note
  6. Copy/paste it into a text editor such as Word  or an Email

This is clearly not a complete solution, and if you have some specific ideas about how this should work, you can submit your ideas at http://goo.gl/mVlWI

Printing

You cannot print your bookmarks or notes.
However, if you copy  your bookmarks or notes from the web to a Word document, you could edit and print that file.
