How to Change Email Address on Bible.com

We cannot change the email address associated with your account for you, but you can do it yourself. It is strongly recommend that you use a desktop/laptop computer to perform these steps

You must be signed in to your account on the Bible.com site to change your email For sign in instructions, see information here

To change the email associated with your account

  1. Select Settings (gear icon) in the top right header
  • On the Mobile web select the profile pic or initial first at right of top menu
  1. Select Change Email Address 
  2. Type or copy and paste  your new email into the box above Change Email Address
  • Your current email will be in the box. Delete it first
  • After your confirm you email you will need to sign out and then in again to show the changed address
  1. Select Change Email Address 
  2. A verification email will be sent to your new email. Open your email and click on the verification link in the email to complete the email change process for your YouVersion account
  3. If you do not receive a verification email then see information here

Alternately with a computer 

  1. Visit: https://www.bible.com/settings/update_email
  2. If necessary,  enter your email address and password to sign into your YouVersion account
  3. Type your new email address very carefully … and double check it before you click the button
  4. Our system will send an email TO your new email address FROM no-reply@youversion.com
  5. Open your email on a desktop/laptop and find the verification email.  You must click the verification link in that email to verify your new email. This completes the email change process in your YouVersion account
  6. If you do not receive a verification email then see information here

It may take up to 6 hrs for your new email address to work as it takes time for it to get to all the sign in servers. Use your username to sign in during that time

After 6 hrs, If you want to prove to yourself that your new email is now associated with your account, sign out then sign in again at https://www.bible.com using your new email and your password. If you are successful in signing in, all is well.
